Cut up the discussion questions into individual pieces. Put your students in groups of at least 3. Put all the questions in the middle of the table and have them flipped down so no one can read them. One student picks up a discussion question, reads it out loud, and has to answer and talk about it for 30 seconds to 1 minute. The classmates next to the speaker must ask follow-up questions from their answer to create more discussion. After the student is done speaking, the next classmate takes a discussion question and repeats the process.
